Well....an interesting weekend to say the least...Absolutely NOTHING went as planned other than the 4 hours I had to work Saturday! But..that keeps life interesting I guess.
I've actually started writing this entry five times now....so hopefully, this will be the last revision (yes dear...you know why)! LOL I guess that will all the ugliness that has surfaced throughout the weekend, there were some real positives....
While I didn't get to hang out with my new 'sweetie' we have talked on the phone for almost 3 hours now throughout the course of the weekend, and it's been really nice! I've been able to see what a great personality and set of values exist. Yes...beneath that hard shell is a really softhearted soul that is very appealing. I find myself laughing a lot and whether a friendship or relationship evolves, I've got a great new person in my life!
I know I'll be having withdrawl pains this week though as somebody has to work a bunch of OT (I'm salaried....hmmmmm)! But...I'm sure we'll find ways to stay in touch, cuz I think we're both enjoying this new discovery period. ;) I've finally gotten out of my funk that has consumed me this weekend...so hopefully, the sideways garbage that I emitted is out of the system. We wrote it off to 'our first fight'! lol (I HATE fighting....so hoping it's the last)
I'm feeling good about where I am now....Now for the week ahead! Then off to the 'rents for Mother's Day...hmmm....should I go Saturday night or Sunday morning? Maybe I should sneak north Saturday....oh....sooooooo many choices....
youre silly. snieakin north wouldnt be such a great idea love. im afraid im gonna be really busy with family all weekend. jessica comes home on friday nite then sat were goin to geneva to have dinner with my favorite sis then sunday tis my nieces recital. im always busy busy busy lol. i would like to know what the first four drafts of this was tho lol.
